The course Structure 1 enables Master’s students to acquire essential knowledge about building infrastructure. It introduces soil investigation in geotechnical engineering and deep foundation systems, while also developing understanding of structural stability under seismic conditions according to Algerian regulations. The course further explores modern construction methods and material selection (concrete, steel, composite systems, prestressed concrete), as well as preliminary design of structural systems. Emphasis is placed on interdisciplinary collaboration with engineers, laboratories, and control institutions.
