at the end of this lecture, the students will be familiarized with the notion “Didactics” , and to identify its domain and role in relation to Language teaching and learning. To cope with the historical teaching methods, their tenets and how to be an Eclectic teacher.

To be aware of the history of didactics.

To invite the students to make a distinction between “ an approach, a method and a technique”.
