Informations du cours

The cours enters in a serie of lectures in the module of English culture and civilization. It consists of three major chapters. The first deals with the age of explorations and the settlement of the New World. The second in turn deals with the first colonies and their expansion to become thirteen autonomous and Britrish-ruled territories. The third explains the economic and political discontent that provoked the American declaration of indepedence from the British empire.

All in all, the purpose of the cours is to initiate Second Year Students to the American colonial history.
