This course guides students through the full process of developping a professional business plan in English and the skills to present it effectively to stakeholders (investors, management, partners). Students will learn how to structure and write each section of the business plan (as per the template), adapt content for different audiences (including HR and management audiences), and deliver a compelling oral and visual presentation of the plan. The emphasis will be both on content (strategy, market, operations, finances) and on language and presentation skills (clear English, persuasive style, visual aids, pitch delivery).

Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, students will be able to:

  • Understand the purpose, structure and contents of a full business plan in English.

  • Develop each major section of the business plan (Executive Summary, Business Overview, Market Analysis, etc.) tailored to a real or hypothetical business.case.

  • Analyse the role of HR, management and entrepreneurship considerations within a business-plan context (e.g., team structure, leadership, organisational capabilities).

  • Compose clear, coherent written business-plan documents in English, following professional standards.

  • Design a professional-looking pitch deck or presentation to summarise the business-plan key points.

  • Present orally the business plan in English to a panel or peer group, using appropriate business language, engaging visuals and persuasive delivery.

  • Critically evaluate business plans (their own and peers’), identifying strengths, weaknesses and potential improvements.
